Women's Squad in Action

Busy few days for the women's squad with two matches at the weekend and an interclub friendly.

The Chargers hosted Farncombe Ferns in a Div 1 I'Anson match, on the Lower Field at Broxhead. With regular drinks breaks, and everyone eager to field in the shade, it was a great match. The Chargers took the win 279 to 264. 👏

The Strikers were away to Chiddingold Rubies, in a Div 2 I'Anson match. A great match enjoyed by all, with the Rubies taking the win 302 to 264, congrats Rubies 👏. The Strikers were treated to a delicious match tea kindly provided by The Crown.

During training on Tuesday, the squad played an interclub match on the lower astro at Grayshott - strategically chosen to find some shade! 10-a-side, 2 overs per pair. with Becca's Babes taking on Charlie's Angels...it was a nail-biting finish coming down to the final ball...with Becca's Babe's taking the win!

In perfect style for a hot evening, everyone celebrated with a well earned choc ice, kindly supplied by Mama Weeks!
