Week 2 of Indoor Cricket Fun

Another fun, fast and furious session of indoor for the Softballers yesterday, as they played Frensham at Amesbury School.

Grayshott won the toss (always a surprise), and chose to field first. It was a great fielding innings, with some phenomenal bowling from mother daughter duo Julia & Ella, taking 6 wickets between them, including a wicket from Julia as she bowled her first ever indoor ball! Combined with some great reactions in the field, Frensham finished on 231/7.

The second innings got underway with Lou & Cat first in, scoring a solid 25/1 from some quick bowling to get the innings underway. 2nd pair, Julia & Nikkie called and crept well to add 34 to the score, without loss. Al & Ella batted last, adding 23 to the score, losing 2 wickets.

Grayshott finished on 282/3 to claim the win 🙌

Thank you to Julie from Frensham for scoring, and to Gavin for umpiring.
