Women's softball friendly win!

With no league matches this weekend, the women's softball squad were delighted to head to Fernhurst to play the Flames in a friendly.

Fernhurst batted well, and despite losing 3 wickets, finished on 285.

Grayshott took up the bat and started well with new pairing Kate O and Britt. Next in were Charlie B & Cady, adding 21 to the score with some lovely cheeky singles. Our 3rd pair was a historic first for Grayshott - sister's Sophie and Bee, who added 17. Last pair, Cath and Al headed in, feeling the pressure not to lose any wickets and keep up the great work. Despite some sizzling bowling from Libby, they added 23 - with Grayshott finishing on 314 to win.

A lovely way to spend an afternoon, and the after-match pizza was the perfect celebration! Thank you to those who came to support, and to Paul for umpiring.
