Strikers' friendly against Blackheath

The Strikers snuck in a cheeky friendly against @blackheathcc_surrey on Sunday. With both clubs having welcomed new players this season, it was a great opportunity for some match experience, on pitch coaching and a taster of the great game for everyone.

The Strikers finished 5 runs ahead, to seal the win.

Not wishing to miss out on the opportunity for some cricket, the rest of the squad played an inter-club friendly on the lower pitch, the headed up to cheer on the Strikers for the second innings.

With the sun shining at Broxhead, players and supporters enjoyed some delicious post-match treats, and a few drinks from the bar.
