Volunteer Treasurer - We Need You!
We are currently looking for a new Treasurer which is a critical role within the club. Could it be you?

Please find below some high level points about the role:
The Treasurer will be part of our committee at Grayshott Cricket Club. This is a voluntary role that plays a vital part in the continued success and smooth running of our club.
As Treasurer, you would be responsible for managing the club’s finances, supporting the committee in its decision making.
This is a great opportunity for someone with financial acumen and good organisational skills. Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial management would be helpful (but is not essential as we outsource the bookkeeping), but we are more than happy to support someone enthusiastic who is willing to learn.
You should be confident in working with systems and have good communications skills
Routine activities are typically payments to our suppliers every 2-4 weeks depending on the time of year and periodic check of our records in Teamo every four weeks
Maintenance of Bank and Stripe Accounts
Attending periodic online committee meetings circa 8/10 times a year
Since the introduction of Teamo and the outsourcing of all our book-keeping, being our Treasurer isn't an onerous role. A handover and ongoing support will be provided, and we estimate volunteer time is around 35-40 hours a year.
