U13 Pelicans claim U13 Tier 1 SE 2 Title!

Our U13 Pelicans sponsored by Integral Wellness recently completed their league campaign maintaining their unbeaten record 10/10 , claiming the Under 13 Tier 1 South East 2 title.

With both Foxes U12 and Pelican U13s playing in the same Tier 1 competition we could rely on a strong squad across both teams, in fact 4 Pelican U13s were represented last night complimented by 5 U12 Foxes. All players have made significant contributions throughout the season, and it was great to see others come into the side and perform strongly with a superlative attitude. 

The coaches were most impressed with the team ethic, with all games being played within the "spirit of cricket ". Whilst there were many outstanding individual contributions, being part of a team and supporting each other during the highs and lows were the highlights of the season

Over 20 different players represented Pelicans U13 this year , so a huge congratulations to them all.

Finally, and of equal importance, a huge thanks to all those parents and club volunteers who have helped out consistently throughout the season via either scoring, bar, ground preparation, travel, positive support and encouragement. There is so much work and effort that happens before a ball is even bowled. A special call out to Ellie (fixtures secretary) - you do an amazing job!!! Thank you. 

Well done all the boys, you can be hugely proud of your achievements. Keep having fun and enjoying cricket.
