Grayshott Cricket Club is proud to be running the Super 1s Cricket programme this year; inclusive cricket sessions offering young people aged 12 - 25yrs with disabilities the opportunity to get involved in the game in a fun, supportive environment.
Delivered in line with the England and Wales Cricket Board’s Super 1s programme, the sessions are designed to make cricket accessible to all, focusing on participation, confidence-building and social connection, as well as developing skills on the field.
Taking place weekly from Tuesday12th May, from 5pm - 6pm at Grayshott Cricket Club (GU26 6LS), the sessions are completely free to attend, with no previous experience or equipment required.
The Super 1s model has been developed nationally to provide opportunities for young people with disabilities to:
Be active and improve physical wellbeing
Build confidence and independence
Develop cricket skills in an inclusive setting
Make new friends and be part of a team
Grayshott CC is delighted to be one of the clubs offering this programme, helping to ensure that cricket truly is a game for everyone.
