Strikers host Peper Harow

The Strikers welcomed Peper Harow Palominos to Broxhead on Sunday, for an I'Anson Division Two match. 

Peper Harow batted first, placing some nice shots and keeping the Strikers on their toes in the field. The Strikers got into their stride, and with some great bowling and fielding, took 9 wickets! Peper Harow finished their innings on 241/9.

After a quick drinks break, and reapplication of sunscreen, the Strikers went into bat. The pairs worked hard together, calling well and making the most of the opportunities to run 2s and sneak a few over the boundary. Peper Harow took 5 wickets, but the Strikers kept up the pace and finished strongly on 294/5 to take the win - congrats Strikers!

Making the most of the weather and great vibe, the players and supporters enjoyed some delicious homemade treats after the match. 🍰 ☀️ 🏏 👏
