President's Day 2026

The sun blazed on President's Day this year, as the Club marked its 130th year in style.

President Phil Coleshill once again hosted and organised a wonderful day for the Club. The day of celebration kicked off with canapés and a Women's Softball match, which saw Becca's Babes take on Charlie's Angels. With both teams put on great scores in their 12 overs, Charlie's Angels nicked the win and bragging rights on the day!

The Men's match got underway, with the President's XI taking on Vintage Grayshott XI in a 30 over match. Wickets fell and boundaries were scored as the bbq sizzled. A delicious South African Braai was served for tea, followed by a feast of home made scones and cakes.

Battling to the end, the President's XI chased down 136 with 2 overs to spare to take the win. Congrats to the President's XI. It was great to see the Vintage XI in fine form - we hope such a brilliant day will entice you back to the club!

There are few better places to be on a sunny afternoon than playing or supporting the Club, surrounded by friends and family.

A huge thank you from everyone at the Club to our President Phil and his family for putting on such a fantastic day for us all.

Thank you to Co-Chairs Andy and Mark for their support and organisation which was invaluable in making the day run smoothly. Thank you to the bakers (and those who bought!), to the supporters and everyone who chipped in to set up, tidy up and create a memorable day of celebration for the Club.
