Cricket is the Winner for U8 and U9

Our U8 and U9 teams were drawn in the same league for the Hampshire 100 and met for our one and only fixture at Broxhead.
With the U8s bringing six players, and joining forces with ten from the U9s, we put together an inter-club match played in fantastic spirit.
Our U8 coach shared: 'Our young team loved the chance to play alongside and against the boys they look up to “from across the ground” each week.'
They faced some top-quality bowling and took on-field direction from their older teammates with enthusiasm.
A big thank you to the U9 players and coaches for making sure the game was great fun and played with the right sportsmanship.
It was a brilliant evening of cricket, full of fun and encouragement.
