Congratulations Ali!

Many congratulations to Alistair (Ali) Wheble for recently reaching the landmark of 6,000 runs for Grayshott. Ali, aged 22, has come through our junior ranks from a very young age and throughout has kept our scorers busy in both junior cricket and senior cricket.

At the first opportunity Ali stepped into senior cricket and like in his junior games, was soon opening the batting, making the achievement all the more special facing the best of the bowling.

His batting average over the years is 41 in 221 innings and during last and this current season his average is starting to climb further. His patience at the crease is to be admired and in recent years he has progressed another step further with the added power to his shots.
