Chargers win away to Farnham

The Chargers travelled to Farnham and delivered an all-round team performance to secure a convincing win, triumphing 339 to 267. 👏


After winning the toss, the Chargers chose to field first. Their decision paid off immediately, with a tight bowling attack that kept the Farnham batters in check throughout the innings. Fielding was sharp, with standout catches from Charlie and Cath that shifted the momentum firmly in Grayshott’s favour.


Farnham managed 267, but after a much-needed drinks break, the Chargers responded with confident, aggressive batting. All four pairs contributed with solid partnerships, regularly finding the boundary with a flurry of well-timed fours.


A highlight of the match was a brilliant debut from Ella, who impressed with a composed and impactful all-round performance. Her contribution added an extra spark to an already strong team showing.


The final score saw the Chargers comfortably ahead at 339, sealing a well-earned victory on the road. It was a game marked by excellent teamwork, discipline in the field, and powerful batting - a performance that sets a strong tone for the rest of the season.
