Broxhead Crowdfunding Campaign - Organisers help required

Broxhead Pavilion Modernisation

Over the past few years, our club has continued to grow and evolve. Alongside our long-standing men’s teams, we’ve welcomed an increasing number of  women and girls, as well as more families, volunteers, and visitors now using Broxhead Pavilion each week.

This growth is a positive sign of a healthy, inclusive club — but it also means our facilities now need to work better for  everyone. In particular, our toilet facilities need to be modernised and increased so they are accessible, welcoming, and suitable for all who use the pavilion.

Crowdfunding Campaign Launch for Broxhead

This summer, we’re launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise  £5,000, which we hope will be  matched pound-for-pound by Sport England, enabling us to reach  £10,000 towards this project.

Improved facilities will benefit  all players and members, while also ensuring we continue to support the growing women’s and girls’ game as part of the club’s future.

Volunteers Needed!

To help make this campaign a success, we’re looking for  one or two organised, digitally minded volunteers to help lead the campaign from pre-launch through to completion.

You don’t need to be a professional — we’re simply looking for people who:

  • Enjoy using social media or digital plat

    forms

  • Like telling stories that help people connect emotionally with a cause

  • Have experience  or an interest in marketing, communications, or online campaigns

The campaign will run across  May and June, with a  flexible time commitment (and we envisage just a few hours) shared across the team. Full club support, content ideas, and background knowledge will be provided throughout.

No knowledge of cricket is required — just enthusiasm and a desire to help create a more inclusive environment for everyone at the club.
