Walking Cricket at Grayshott

Grayshott Cricket Club as part of its 130 year celebrations in 2026 will be introducing Walking Cricket.

Welcoming New Adult Members

Grayshott Cricket Club welcomes new male and female adult members and in 2026 will again be offering FREE membership to new adult members for their first year at the club.

Summer Sessions

Summer  Sessions take place at the Sportsfield in Grayshott, with sessions running from May through to end of July 11.30am - 1pm on Thursdays.

What is Walking Cricket

Walking Cricket is primarily aimed at participants aged 50+ but is open to anyone who might not be able to participate in mainstream cricket due to mobility or other issues. The primary goal is to ensure that older people can maintain their physical and mental health whilst also enjoying a social environment where they can meet new people. Walking Cricket is open to male and female participants and no experience is necessary to get started.

Membership and Walking Cricket Sessions

Free Membership for New Members: All new adult members in their first year at the club enjoy free membership.​

Walking Cricket Sessions: Sessions takes place every Thursday from 11:30 to 1pm at the Sportsfield in Grayshott, from xx until the end of July.​

Equipment

 

Equipment Provided: The club supplies all the necessary equipment, including bats, stumps, and incrediballs (soft cricket balls) – no protective gear required
