Our Grounds

With two grounds we are always looking for help, and a great way of enjoying the fresh air. From cutting the grass to marking all the lines on our artificial pitches their are plenty of tasks you can help with.

Join our group of volunteers and keep our grounds looking smart and great places to enjoy playing and watching cricket.

See here for more information on what is involved

No better way to support your club

Our club is run entirely by volunteers. Everyone has skills that can help in the smooth running of our club and where needed training and support will be provided. Part of being a member is to help in the smooth running of the club and sustain it into the future

There are a number of ways you can get involved.

Coaching

A great way to get involved with your child’s cricket, and without such Mums and Dads their would be no junior cricket. A range of coaching courses are available to suit you which the club will fund your attendance.

Such volunteers don’t need to have played the game, just have lots of enthusiasm. There is also plenty of support within the club and in today’s world online support.

Parents typically support their child’s age group unless they choose not too….You can find out more about coaching here

Off the Field

Administration

Together with the systems we use most of our records are electronic with the added benefit of being able to fulfill such roles from the comfort of your home. Typical roles range from supporting our Treasurer, helping run a junior team or supporting us in maintaining our key records.

Coffee Mornings

Our Coffee Mornings on a Saturday morning are popular and great fun for families. Helping raise funds for the club, it also provides another way for families to support the club.  Just three hours of your time one Satuirday morning

The all important social side

Along with a great game of cricket, comes the social side of the club, which is so important for a family orientated one. If you enjoy organising social events this is just the type of role you can help with. Whether a quiz night or a bbq evening.

Alternatively if you see yourself pulling a pint and enjoying the banter from behind the bar we have two bars. Read more here.
