Macmillan Cancer Support
In recent years the Club has lost loved ones through cancer as well as several families connected with the club being touched by the same illness. Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer.
One in three of us will get cancer and are all affected by cancer.
At the Club's 2009 Annual General Meeting the committee proposed that the Club support the Macmillan Charity and donate funds from the Club’s social events to support this Charity. Shirley Bates, Manager of the Macmillan Cancer Support shop in the village was delighted that the Club had opted to support their charity.

Over the last two years the club has raised £3,000 towards our Macmillan Cancer Support.

Club Evening at The Sportslocker
Wednesday 20th March
at their Haslemere shop at the top of the high street
5.30pm to 8pm
Refreshments will be available so come along to our club evening and get kitted out for the season.

Grayshott Cricket Club wholly relys on volunteer support to run the club.
As a member or a parent of one of our junior members there are many ways and roles you can get involved that involves a variety of skills and time commitment …ranging from an hour a week to an hour once a month during the cricket season! Furthermore, plenty of support will be on offer and it is not a job for life!
