Rain threatened to stop play in Grayshott Cricket Club’s Annual Golf Day.
Blacknest Golf Club was closed due to the week’s rain meaning a hastily re-arranged venue of Worldham Golf Club that kindly stepped in.
15 members and friends teed it up to win the much sought after title of Champion Golfer. The competition is now in it’s 20th year and many of the players wanted their name on the prestigious trophy.
Kieran Wells picked up the wooden spoon whilst several nearest the pins and long drives were awarded. The top three positions were filled by Rob Ward in 3rd Place, Ian Martin in 2nd and runaway winner with 45 points playing off a handicap of 18 was Harrison Ward. Harrison also picked up the 2 long drive prizes playing very well in damp conditions.
