How often do you practice?

During the winter, both adults and juniors have net practise at a nearby venue, normally from early February to the end of March.

During the summer you are welcome to use the nets any night but formal net sessions are Tuesdays for adults and Thursdays for the younger ones.

Is it a friendly club?

We like to think so. So much that the club has several father and sons playing together and even some brothers too.

Does the club have any social events?

Yes, even apart from the normal social activity after each game ! Typical social activities throughout the season will include a Skittles, Quiz, Coffee Morning, Car Rally.

A formal Dinner and Dance is also held each year. The club celebrated in style its' centenary in 1996 with several events including a match against an MCC XI and a Victorian Day all at the Sportsfield.

 

 

Who can I talk to about joining the club?

 

If you are 17 or over you should talk to one of our Saturday captains or Club Chairman Paul Roberts on 01428 714626.

If you are Under 17 you should contact our Youth Manager Graham Sampson on 01420 88616.

 

Can I support the club in other ways?

 

Of course you can. Like most clubs we rely on members and non members alike to support the club in various roles all in their own time.

Alternatively, you may wish to support the club financially and several opportunities exist to sponsor or support the club in this manner.
